This summer is turning into a very long and trying summer. I work...hard. Just got back from the vacation trip, and need a vacation to recover from the vacation and

I HATE LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIPS!

But I'm trying...really trying and it's evident from my phone bill that my mom started complaining about again.

One of my coolest and closest friends has moved away and I've been too busy with work to even see him. Maybe a trip to Miami is what I really need. Work on my non-existant Spanish...get a tan (HAHA)...buy a couple sexy miami outfits.

Maybe even help a couple of Cubans get into America! SWEET!

Oh yeah and make a pit a stop in Fort Lauderdale...yeap that's definitely a plan I'll have to tell my Travel Buddy about.

Can you tell? I'm ready to go back to school. It makes life exciting.

<Craven Ridge News>

Hey all! I know it's been a while so I'll just use one excuse...School. I feel like letting you in on some stuff revolving around my soap opera Craven Ridge. I've started it up again and it's been updated: Craven Ridge Episode 15. But i'm also posting in a new location so if you interested in reading as well as discissing the story head over to Latinagurl ProBoards.

As you know I like to cast actors for my different characters. I'm casting some new characters as well as replacing some old.

Ann-Margret is being replaced by Renee Goldsberry in the part of Ann Spence-Bartley. Renee's work on One Life to Live is really catching my eye and I think she makes a better Ann then the 70's sex kitten.

Also for the part of the new Police chief called in to replace Jay Rouka I've decided should be Jensen Ackles, who will make a very good Adrien Walters.

Now that Cassie is dead things are going to get a little interesting for the business, so the characters of brother sister team Paolo and Herminia "Mina" Jackson will be played by David Fumero* and Alicia Minshew. As well as the Spence family lawyer and friend Nadege Harris played by Tanisha Lynn.

So these are my changes I hope you guys stay tuned.

*David Fumero did not sleep the the Writer/Producer/Casting Director/PR person of the show in order to get this part though she would have been happy to oblige!

<Me and TV make...er...Two!>

All My Children: I used to watch this show all the time. It was partly great fun to sit and watch and predict were the show would go and most especially it was the only thing me and my Mom really have in commen, but lately it hasn't been working for me. I mean my favorite character Kendall just isn't right pregnant. So now I have absolutely nothing to do during my lunch breaks in between classes except to well...eat lunch. But what I'm surprised about is that I've been watch this show for what? 3-4 years, I've always know it was terrible but I just liked watching it.

The Tribe: YES BITCHES THE TRIBE IS BACK! on DVD, but most definitely coming back to a TV near me...just as soon as I get $150 for the first three seasons of the show by the end of this summer and another $100 by Chistmas. I'm excited because I'll have by next year and that means I can watch an entire hour everyday for the entire school year. Jackie is not excited cause she knows she'll get addicted to it. But that's besides the point. And yes since it won't work on my DVD player I'm working to figure out a way to hook my computer to the television or buy a cheap Daewoo that'll play all regions. Besides I think I deserve at LEAST this after all my other failed attempts with the tribe (Actors, Contest, Merchandise, etc.). I mean The Tribe is still one of my biggest comforts after a bad day.
